- Lead a childcare classroom using our L.E.A.P. Curriculum®
- Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging preschool environment
- Coach and mentor assistant teachers

- Must Meet ONE of the
Following:
Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, General Education, or a related education field
90+ college credits toward a degree in Early Childhood Education, General Education, or a related education field
Currently enrolled in an approved Study Plan working toward a degree in Early Childhood Education, General Education, or a related education field
Experience & Additional Requirements:
1-2 years of experience working in a preschool, daycare, childcare, or early childhood classroom
Experience working with children approximately ages 2.5-4 years old
Knowledge of early childhood development and developmentally appropriate practices (DAP)
Strong classroom management and leadership skills
Ability to lead a classroom and work collaboratively with assistant teachers
Strong communication skills with children, families, and staff
CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
Must meet all applicable NYC childcare staff clearance and health requirements
