- Lead and support a preschool or daycare classroom for ages 2 to 5
- Implement our L.E.A.P. Curriculum® in a childcare setting

Responsibilities Education - Must Meet ONE of the
Following:
Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE)
Currently enrolled in a Study Plan working toward an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education
Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential AND enrolled in a Study Plan to obtain an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education within 7 years
Experience & Additional Requirements:
Prior infant/toddler childcare or daycare experience required
Experience working with children ages 6 weeks to 2 years
Strong understanding of infant and toddler development
Ability to maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
Ability to manage daily routines including feeding, diapering, naps, transitions, and classroom activities
Strong supervision and classroom management skills
Professional, dependable, patient, and nurturing
Strong communication skills with families and coworkers
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a teaching team
CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
Must meet all applicable NYC childcare background clearance, medical, and training requirements
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and actively supervise young children throughout the day
