• Upper West Side is seeking a nurturing and experienced Infant Lead Teacher to join our early childhood education team. Our Infant Lead Teacher creates a warm, responsive classroom where babies feel safe, secure, and loved while reaching important developmental milestones. We're looking for an educator who understands that infant care is about much more than routines
• it's about building trusting relationships, encouraging exploration, and creating meaningful learning experiences from the very beginning.

Key Responsibilities Lead daily routines and learning experiences in an Infant classroom Provide responsive, individualized care based on each infant's needs and schedule Support feeding, diapering, sleep, tummy time, and other daily care routines Create age-appropriate sensory, movement, language, music, and early learning experiences Support cognitive, physical, language, and social-emotional development Observe developmental progress and maintain required classroom documentation Maintain consistent communication and build trusting relationships with families Guide and collaborate with Assistant Teachers and classroom support staff Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and nurturing classroom Follow applicable New York City childcare health, safety, and licensing requirements Qualifications Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education required Previous professional infant classroom or early childhood education experience strongly preferred Lead Teacher or classroom leadership experience preferred Strong understanding of infant development and responsive caregiving Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills Patient, nurturing, dependable, and team-oriented Must meet applicable New York City childcare requirements What We Offer Competitive pay of $20
