We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. QUALIFICATIONS

• Baccalaureate degree (State certification optional) OR
• Study plan : Associate's (AA or AS) degree in early children education, practicum included ; OR 90 or more undergraduate college credits and one year classroom experience teaching children in pre-kindergarten, kindergarten or grades 1-2; Must have Current proof of college enrollment The course of study may include the following study areas: Sociological, Historical, Philosophical Foundations of Education or Sociology of Education or History of Education or Philosophy of Education Child Development or Child Psychology Educational Developmental Psychology or Psychological Foundations of Education Instructional Materials and Methods Courses•three courses required, including one on the pre-kindergarten or kindergarten level including, but not limited to, such courses as: Teaching of Reading, Teaching of Math, Teaching Science to Young Children Teaching of Music, Teaching of Art, Methods of Teaching of Language Arts Teaching of Computer Technology to Young Children Parent Education and Community Relations or Urban Education or Sociology of the Family or Parent, Child, School.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote literacy education and early learning concepts. Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity. Assess and monitor children's progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs. Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff to support child welfare and development. Collaborate with colleagues to design curriculum that aligns with educational standards and best practices. Provide support for children with special education needs, ensuring all students receive appropriate resources. Maintain a clean and organized classroom, adhering to daycare regulations and safety standards. Communicate regularly with parents about their child's development and classroom activities. SKILLS Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Experience in preschool or daycare settings is preferred. Proficiency in curriculum development tailored for young children. Ability to educate children effectively while fostering a love for learning. Understanding of child welfare policies and practices. Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, and colleagues effectively. Patience, creativity, and adaptability in teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles.
