Our client is looking for a friendly, professional, organized, and self-motivated Preschool Operations Assistant for their premier early learning center in Scarsdale, NY. This role will be integral in performing billing, enrollment and student file management duties, in addition to being the face of the school - answering phones, greeting families, and providing support to the leadership team/faculty in their daily routines. This is a Direct Hire position with the school Full-Time; Monday-Friday; year-round employment Salary $23.00-$27.00/hour pending education, certifications, and professional Early Childhood Education experience Full-Time Benefits Paid Time Off Paid Holidays Childcare Discounts Professional Development Opportunities Job Responsibilities Greet parents, guardians, and children daily, creating a welcoming and professional front-office environment Support daily preschool operations, including scheduling, attendance tracking, and maintaining student records Assist classroom teachers as needed, providing supervision, activity support, and ensuring a safe, engaging learning environment Communicate effectively with families regarding schedules, updates, and general inquiries Manage front desk responsibilities such as answering phones, responding to emails, and directing inquiries appropriately Coordinate enrollment paperwork, student files, and compliance documentation Help maintain licensing and health/safety standards throughout the facility Assist with event planning and execution for school activities, parent meetings, and special programs Collaborate with staff and leadership to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and positive school culture Requirements
REQUIRED
Education :
Child Development Associate (CDA) Certification or a completed degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or an education-related field
REQUIRED
Experience :
At least 1-year of teaching experience and 1-year of administrative experience working in a licensed Early Childhood Education facility with students 5-years-old and younger Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations Must meet background check eligibility
