Job Description
$500 Sign On Bonus!! $250 after 4 months of employment and $250 after 1 year of employment!! We are looking for qualified professionals who are enthusiastic about early care and education to come join our team. The ideal candidates must have, at a minimum, a high school diploma or a GED in addition to professional experience caring for children and perform the duties and responsibilities listed below: Assist in establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy learning environment and be responsible for the care, cleanliness, and daily preparation of learning areas Assist in providing a classroom environment for children that is developmentally appropriate and responsive to individual children's strengths, interests and needs Assume leadership of the classroom in the event of the teacher's absence Work cooperatively with teacher, center staff and outside service providers Assist in conducting parent teacher conferences twice a year to discuss the development and growth of the children Assist with all required paperwork including weekly lesson plans, weekly parent newsletters, anecdotal records, workshop evaluations, student intern and work study student evaluations, etc Is knowledgeable of all Child Care guidelines and implements those that relate to the position Establish and maintain positive, supportive relationships with families; greet parents and children upon arrival and departure; be available to discuss with parents progress or concerns regarding their child and encourage parent involvement Participates in training as assigned Attend and participate in center staff meetings Perform all reasonable related duties as assigned by the Director or designated employee.
