Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum in line with early childhood education standards. Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and positive behavior management. Plan engaging lesson plans that incorporate Montessori principles and early intervention strategies. Provide attentive toddler care and preschool instruction while ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed. Manage classroom activities effectively to maintain a structured yet flexible learning atmosphere. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance classroom management techniques and share best practices in childhood development. Skills Strong knowledge of curriculum development tailored for early childhood education settings. Proven experience working with children across various age groups, including toddlers and preschoolers. Expertise in behavior management strategies to foster positive classroom behavior. Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to organize lesson plans effectively. Experience in childcare environments, including private schools or daycare centers. Effective communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members. Understanding of childhood development principles to support holistic growth.
Pay:
$23.00 - $26.00 per hour
