Job Description

St. Ignatius of Antioch St. Ignatius of Antioch in Cleveland is seeking two educational aides for their new preschool and early learning program that is opening in late August 2026. We currently have two openings. This is a full time, hourly position working five days a week in accordance with the academic school calendar. This position comes with full time diocesan benefits (health insurance, dental, vision, pension, etc.) Position overview: The educational aides will assist the lead teachers in daily classroom activities, support students throughout the day, maintain a clean and organized classroom environment, assist in supervising outdoor play, transitions, meals and other activities, and work collaboratively with the lead teachers and other coworkers to provide a safe, welcoming and nurturing learning environment for all students.
Requirements:
High school diploma required. Experience in preschool or an early childhood setting preferred. The educational aide must be Virtus trained (or willing to be trained), pass FBI and BCI background checks, comply with DCY required trainings, and be CPR/First Aid certified.
