Job Description
Chagrin Valley Early Learning Center is seeking a qualified individual with at least an Associates Degree in Education or related field.
Responsibilities:
- Actively supervising the group
- Caring for the emotional and physical welfare, health, and safety of all the children
- Knowing ratios and how many children are in your group at all times
- Keeping the room organized into labeled centers
- Setting up centers and rotating materials according to the lesson plan
- Complete lesson plans weekly and align them to the contend standards
- Planning activities that encourage children to explore their interests
- Setting up centers in a way that allows learning to take place all day
- Incorporating music and movement daily
- Updating student portfolios weekly with photos, work samples, and notes
- Completing assessments
- Completing all assigned paperwork: food counts, time log, time card, attendance, behavior logs, incident reports
