Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Morning Floater to join our early childhood education team! Duties Assist in supervising children during morning routines, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Support classroom teachers by helping with child supervision, activities, and transitions throughout the morning Engage children in age-appropriate play, learning activities, and social interactions to promote development and positive behavior Maintain a clean, organized environment by helping with light classroom cleaning and setup of materials for daily activities Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's needs or concerns during drop-off times Follow all health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary, such as pediatric first aid or basic child CPR Support staff in implementing early childhood education principles focused on childhood development and classroom management Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or childcare settings is highly preferred Knowledge of child development instruction and behavior management techniques Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is advantageous Classroom experience in early childhood education or daycare centers demonstrates your ability to manage young learners effectively Familiarity with mandated reporting laws ensures compliance with legal requirements related to child safety and welfare Child supervision skills developed through babysitting or teaching roles with young children are valuable assets Certification in first aid and CPR (including pediatric first aid) is preferred but not required; training can be provided if necessary Join us as a Morning Floater and be part of a vibrant team dedicated to nurturing the next generation!
