Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities Lead daily classroom routines, including diapering, feeding, and engaging infants in age-appropriate activities that promote development. Develop and implement individualized lesson plans that support each infant's growth milestones in areas such as motor skills, language, and social-emotional development. Ensure a safe, clean, and stimulating environment by adhering to health and safety standards, including pediatric first aid and CPR protocols. Supervise assistant teachers and support staff to maintain consistent classroom management and positive behavior guidance. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns, fostering strong partnerships. Maintain accurate documentation of developmental progress, health records, and incident reports in compliance with mandated reporting laws. Collaborate with colleagues to plan curriculum enhancements that reflect best practices in early childhood education and special education needs. Qualifications Proven experience working with infants in daycare or preschool settings, demonstrating strong classroom management skills. Knowledge of childhood development principles, infant care techniques, and behavior management strategies. Certification in first aid, CPR, pediatric first aid, and knowledge of mandated reporting laws. Background in special education or experience working with children with disabilities is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills for effective parent interaction and team collaboration. Ability to create a nurturing environment that supports early childhood development through engaging activities. Prior experience with classroom supervision, daycare center operations, or babysitting is advantageous.
