Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. The Child Care Teacher will be responsible for developing age-appropriate lesson plans, fostering social and emotional development, and ensuring the well-being of all students in their care. Duties Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote childhood development and learning. Supervise and interact with children in a positive manner, ensuring their safety at all times. Facilitate activities that support cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement strategies. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns. Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment conducive to learning. Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience. Provide care for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children as needed. Requirements Proven experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or similar setting. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development milestones. Familiarity with behavior management techniques and classroom management strategies. First aid/CPR certification is required; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held. Other trainings are also required that we are willing to help you obtain. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. Previous experience in caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting is beneficial. A genuine passion for teaching and nurturing young minds.
