Good Beginnings Teachers are responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. The teacher plans and implements age-appropriate activities that support children's cognitive, social, emotional, physical, and language development while encouraging curiosity and independence.

Job Duties:

Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and daily activities. Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of toddlers at all times. Foster a warm, positive, and inclusive classroom environment. Support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth through play-based learning. Assist children with daily routines, including meals, toileting, diapering, and nap time. Observe, assess, and document children's progress and developmental milestones. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development and daily activities. Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom. Follow all health, safety, and licensing regulations. Collaborate with fellow teachers and administrators to promote a high-quality early childhood education program

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (CDA or Associate degree in Early Childhood Education preferred). Experience working with toddlers in a childcare or preschool setting. Knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices. CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Strong communication, teamwork, and classroom management skills. Knowledge of TSG and SUTQ Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with young children. Must pass BCI and FBI back

Pay:

$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
