As a key leader in early childhood education, you will design and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum, promote positive behavior, and build strong relationships with children, families, and staff. Your enthusiasm for early childhood development will help create a vibrant space where children can explore, learn, and grow confidently. Duties Develop and execute engaging lesson plans aligned with preschool standards, incorporating literacy education, math, physical education, and social-emotional learning. Lead daily classroom activities that support child development milestones across cognitive, social, emotional, and physical domains. Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement strategies to create a safe and respectful learning environment. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share progress, address concerns, and foster collaborative relationships. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate records of student progress and incidents. Supervise assistant teachers and support staff to ensure high-quality instruction and classroom management. Incorporate special education strategies and early intervention techniques to support diverse learning needs. Skills Proven experience working with children in preschool or early childhood settings, including classroom management and behavior management skills. Strong knowledge of childhood development instruction, curriculum development, and preschool teaching methodologies. Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention programs, and childhood welfare standards. Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration. Ability to plan lessons that integrate literacy education, math concepts, physical activity, and standardized testing preparation. Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification to ensure child safety at all times. Experience working in private or preschool environments with a focus on early childhood education best practices. Position offers part-time from 7:45am-12:00pm or full time from 7:45am-3pm M-F.
