Duties Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans tailored to early childhood education standards and individual student needs Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and active learning Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques Conduct assessments to monitor child development progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress, milestones, and any concerns Facilitate age-appropriate activities that promote literacy education, math skills, physical development, and social-emotional growth Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate records of student attendance and progress Incorporate early intervention strategies to support children with special education needs or developmental delays Maintain a safe classroom environment by adhering to health and safety protocols including first aid and CPR certifications Skills Strong knowledge of childhood development instruction, curriculum development, and preschool teaching methodologies Experience working with children across diverse backgrounds, including toddlers and preschool-aged students Proficiency in classroom management techniques to foster an engaging learning environment Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and administrators Familiarity with standardized testing procedures relevant to early childhood education settings Knowledge of special education practices, behavior management strategies, and early intervention programs Experience teaching physical education or incorporating movement into daily lessons is a plus Understanding of child welfare policies and childhood development best practices Demonstrated ability to plan lessons that integrate literacy education, math concepts, and social skills Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; ongoing professional development in early childhood education is highly valued Join us in making a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners!
