Job Description
Do you want to make a difference? EHS teachers provide educational services to children 0-3 years and their families. This period of development is the most rapid period of development of one's life. Intervention and educational experiences during this period permanently change developing brains! Responsibilities and Duties Teachers team-teach in a small group experience with a maximum of 8 children ages infant to 36 months, and 2 teachers. They ensure that the early childhood curriculum, as well as health and safety procedures are implemented daily. This is a full time position (40 hours a week) with full benefits. Qualifications and Skills Candidates for these teaching positions requires an Infant Toddler CDA, and experience/knowledge of children; alternative education such as a Certificate of Mastery or an AA or AAS in early childhood, child development, etc. meets/exceeds this educational requirement. All educators engage in on-going professional development and opportunities to participate in Practice Based Coaching experiences. Training costs are also covered, and training is provided as part of one's work day (not on the weekend). Benefits This position is full time (40 hours a week). For example, we can pay for the books, fees and tuition for college coursework minus the small staff copay of 50.00 per class, to assist the employee in reaching their BS or BA degree. Repayment is not expected.
