Join our accredited early childhood education team as a Pre-Kindergarten Teacher and ignite a love for learning in young children! In this dynamic role, you will create a nurturing, engaging classroom environment that fosters curiosity, social-emotional growth, and foundational skills. Duties Implement Footsteps to Four lesson plans aligned with preschool standards, including literacy, math, physical education, bible study, and social skills. Foster a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity, independence, and respectful interactions among children. Manage classroom behavior using effective behavior management strategies to promote safety and cooperation. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about children's progress, milestones, and any concerns through meetings or written updates. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate records of child development progress and daily activities. Skills Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles, including child development instruction and preschool teaching methodologies. Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early intervention settings; familiarity with toddler care is a plus. Proficiency in curriculum development tailored to early learners. Excellent communication skills for effective parent communication and teamwork within the classroom. Ability to manage classroom dynamics through effective classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies. Knowledge of standardized testing procedures relevant to early childhood assessment tools. Certification in first aid and CPR; familiarity with childhood welfare standards is preferred. CDA, COM, or Degree in Early Child education required or working towards. Join us in making a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners!
Pay:
$12.00 - $17.00 per hour
