Duties Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support childhood development, including educational games, arts and crafts, sports, and outdoor play. Supervise children during indoor activities, outdoor recreation, meal times, and transitions to ensure safety at all times. Manage classroom behavior using positive behavior management techniques to promote respectful interactions and a supportive environment. Facilitate youth group activities, camp experiences, or special events that encourage teamwork, leadership, and personal growth. Maintain clear communication with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and daily activities. Follow all safety protocols including first aid procedures, CPR/AED operation, and emergency response plans to ensure children's well-being. Support children with special needs or individualized education plans (IEPs), collaborating with specialists as needed to foster inclusive participation. Requirements Prior experience working with children in educational settings such as daycare, preschool, camp programs, or youth groups. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and familiarity with first aid protocols. Strong classroom management skills combined with patience and positive reinforcement techniques. Ability to lead outdoor work activities safely while engaging children in physical play or sports coaching. Experience facilitating youth programs or tutoring sessions is highly desirable.
