Duties & Responsibilities:

• This is a CLOSING shift .

Employees in this role will clean and lock up the center after all students have gone for the day. Working anywhere between 18-32 hours per week. Hours are not guaranteed, we need schedule flexibility. Take direction from Lead Teachers and support them however needed. Keep order and routine in classrooms, make sure students follow rules and respect themselves/others. Rotate through each classroom to give teachers their breaks and lunches. Provide a nurturing and supportive learning environment for students; playing with students, leading by example, being engaged with them. Work well with your team and be able to take constructive criticism for the best of the students. Keep all students safe and comfortable, providing them with emotional connection through our philosophy of Constructivism learning.

Experience:

• Previous experience working in a classroom or educational setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
• Ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential.
