Responsibilities Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and learning activities to ensure their safety and engagement Assist with implementing age-appropriate curriculum activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development Support classroom management by maintaining a clean, organized environment conducive to learning and play Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress, needs, and daily experiences Follow all health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures and mandated reporting laws for child protection Help with diapering, feeding, and basic infant care as needed for younger children in the center Collaborate with lead teachers to observe developmental milestones and tailor activities to individual needs Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare centers, preschools, or similar environments is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Experience with child supervision, behavior management, and classroom management techniques Certification in first aid and CPR (including pediatric first aid) is required or willing to obtain upon hire Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with parents, children, and team members Familiarity with special education needs or working with children with disabilities is a plus Previous nannying or babysitting experience that involved caring for infants and toddlers is advantageous Must be in the CBR Join us in creating a warm, supportive space where every child feels valued and inspired!
