Job Summary Looking for a teacher to join our team. We are currently looking for a teacher who is willing to learn and grow as we partner with Neighbor Impact and start Implementing the Pyramid Model in that classroom. As a center the expectation is that we set the bar higher for childcare. Responsibilities Support lead teachers in planning and executing age-appropriate educational activities that promote early childhood development and learning. Assist with daily routines such as diapering, feeding, nap time, and bathroom breaks to ensure comfort and hygiene for each child. Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, ensuring safety and encouraging positive social interactions. Help manage classroom behavior by implementing behavior management strategies under the guidance of the lead teacher. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment by sanitizing toys, surfaces, and materials regularly. Observe and document children's progress, behaviors, and needs to inform ongoing development assessments. Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child's activities and well-being when appropriate. Show up on time ready to go in your classroom Requirements Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar environments. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Ability to provide nurturing care with patience, enthusiasm, and professionalism. Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies. Certification or training in first aid is preferred; willingness to obtain certification if not already held. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and families.
