Full-time We're hiring 3 Infant Lead Guides About Us Redmond Montessori School cultivates the natural wonder and intellectual spark that each child carries with them through an authentic Montessori program. As we grow, we're looking for guides who share our belief that even the youngest infants deserve an environment built on trust, respect, and connection. The infant years are the foundation for everything that follows. During this stage, babies are building trust and security through loving care and consistent routines, exploring with their senses, beginning to move, and connecting with the world around them for the very first time. We're seeking Infant Lead Guides who understand the weight and privilege of that responsibility. The Role As an Infant Lead Guide, you'll create and hold a prepared environment where babies feel safe, loved, and secure. That is the foundation focus of our infant program. You'll partner closely with families during one of the most tender transitions they'll experience, and you'll mentor a classroom team committed to responsive, individualized care.
Responsibilities:
Lead and implement an authentic Montessori infant program grounded in trust, attachment, and responsive care Prepare and maintain a safe, orderly, beautiful environment at baby's level, one that invites movement, sensorial discovery, and independence Follow each baby's individual rhythm for feeding, sleeping, and diapering, treating these moments as opportunities for connection, not just routine Observe each child closely and communicate their growth and milestones with parents as true partners in their development Guide and mentor classroom assistants in authentic Montessori infant practices Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom space in line with our health and safety policies What We're Looking For A patient, warm, and attentive presence with infants Understanding of Montessori philosophy, or genuine eagerness to learn it (we provide training) Experience working with infants in an educational or caregiving setting preferred Strong communication skills; comfortable partnering with families through an emotional, formative stage Someone who leads with calm consistency and unconditional respect for each child's own pace of development Why Join Us Competitive pay: $20.00-$24.00/hour Montessori training and ongoing professional development provided A collaborative, supportive team culture; we believe children (and staff) thrive in community The chance to shape a child's very first experience of the world outside their home
