Job Description
Kid-Doodles Learning Center is a Pre-School/Daycare located in Ambler, PA. We provide high quality care for children aged Infants through 5-years old. We are a family-owned, long-established daycare that is a pillar of the Ambler community. We have many families that walk to our center and we maintain a very family-oriented atmosphere. Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare/Preschool Teacher to join our team. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of young children and providing them with a strong foundation for their educational journey. If you have a love for working with children and a desire to make a positive impact in their lives, we encourage you to apply.Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Foster a positive and nurturing learning environment for children
- Provide individualized attention and support to students
- Promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians
- Monitor and assess student progress, identifying areas for improvement
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to create a cohesive educational experience
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students at all times
- Manage classroom behavior and implement behavior management strategies
Experience:
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children is preferred
- Familiarity with early childhood education principles and practices
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom environment
- Knowledge of child development stages and milestones
- Experience working with students who may require additional support or early intervention services is a plus
