Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Lead Preschool Teacher to inspire and nurture the youngest learners in our early childhood education program. Duties Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods. Lead daily classroom activities that promote social skills, emotional regulation, and cognitive development among toddlers. Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement strategies and effective behavior management techniques. Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, developmental milestones, and any concerns related to child welfare or special education needs. Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and support staff to ensure high-quality childcare and classroom management. Conduct ongoing assessments of children's progress using standardized testing methods and informal observations to tailor instruction accordingly. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that supports toddler care and early intervention strategies. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting, specifically with toddlers. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and early intervention strategies. Experience in curriculum development across multiple domains including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with families, staff, and external specialists such as special educators or child welfare professionals. Classroom management skills with the ability to lead a dynamic learning environment while ensuring safety standards are met. Formal training or certification in early childhood education or a related field; additional qualifications in special education or toddler care are highly desirable.
