Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote early childhood development, literacy, and physical activity. Provide attentive toddler care by supporting their daily routines, including feeding, diapering, and rest periods. Manage classroom activities to ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and independence. Utilize effective behavior management strategies to guide children's social interactions and emotional regulation. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns. Maintain accurate documentation of child development progress and classroom activities in compliance with licensing standards. Adhere to mandated reporting laws to ensure child safety and welfare at all times. Qualifications Proven experience working with young children in a classroom or childcare setting, especially with toddlers. Strong knowledge of child development principles, early intervention strategies, and childhood education best practices. Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques tailored for toddlers. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training in child welfare is preferred. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, team members, and community partners. Knowledge of special education needs, behavior management techniques, and classroom safety protocols.
