Responsibilities Present engaging, age-appropriate curriculum plans that support literacy, math, physical education, and overall child development. Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages positive behavior management and classroom management strategies. Facilitate hands-on activities that promote early intervention, childhood development instruction, and preschool readiness skills. Ensure adherence to mandated reporting laws and child welfare policies to safeguard the well-being of all children in your care. Collaborate with colleagues to plan special events, and classroom projects that enhance learning experiences. Maintain a safe, clean, and well-equipped learning environment. Requirements Proven experience working with children ages 6 weeks to 6 years in preschool or daycare settings, demonstrating strong classroom experience and child development knowledge. Training and/or experience in early childhood education or related fields; experience with special education or early intervention programs is a plus. Knowledge of curriculum development, behavior management techniques, and classroom management best practices. Ability to communicate effectively with young children, parents, staff, and community partners using excellent communication skills. Certification in first aid and CPR is required to ensure safety during all activities. Familiarity with childhood development milestones, standardized testing procedures, and teaching physical education is preferred. Demonstrated commitment to child welfare, daycare experience, private school experience, or working within early childhood education environments is highly valued. Pay:
