Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong background in early childhood education. This role involves creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. The Childcare Provider will be responsible for fostering positive relationships with children while supporting their developmental needs. Responsibilities Supervise and ensure the safety of children in your care at all times. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development. Provide individualized care for infants and toddlers, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed. Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment conducive to learning and play. Support children with disabilities by adapting activities to meet their unique needs. Manage children's behavior through positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies. Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Collaborate with other childcare staff to create a cohesive team approach to childcare. Qualifications Previous experience in daycare or childcare settings is preferred. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices is essential. Experience caring for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children is highly desirable. Familiarity with behavior management techniques is a plus. Ability to work effectively with children who have disabilities or special needs is advantageous. Strong communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and colleagues. A nurturing attitude with the ability to engage children in meaningful play and learning experiences.
