Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards and curriculum development principles. Foster a warm, inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behavior management and classroom management strategies. Support children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development through individualized instruction and group activities. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones to build strong home-school partnerships. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation of children's progress and incidents. Lead classroom activities that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, physical education, and early intervention strategies. Supervise assistant teachers and classroom staff to ensure smooth daily operations while modeling best practices in childhood development instruction. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings; prior preschool teaching experience preferred. Strong knowledge of child development principles, early intervention techniques, special education needs, and childhood welfare practices. Demonstrated skills in curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Familiarity with standardized testing methods for early learners and experience teaching physical education or literacy education is advantageous. Ability to adhere to mandated reporting laws and maintain confidentiality of student information. Be able to pass Background checks and get all Clearances.
