Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic, nurturing, and responsible intern to join our Montessori school community for the 2026-27 School Year. This is a wonderful opportunity for an individual interested in early childhood education, child development, or gaining hands-on experience in a Montessori environment. Our Montessori school serves children ages 3 to 6 years old in a warm, engaging, and developmentally appropriate setting. We emphasize independence, curiosity, hands-on exploration, and respect for each child.
Responsibilities:
Assist teachers in preparing and maintaining class materials and classroom environments Support children during work sessions, art projects, sensory activities, and outdoor play Help supervise snack, and active work/playtimes. Model grace, courtesy, and positive communication Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment Provide caring and attentive supervision at all times! Maintain attendance and incident/injury records Communicate with other staff to provide proper communication to parents
Qualifications:
Interest in early childhood education, Montessori philosophy, psychology, or related fields Patient, dependable, and energetic Comfortable working with young children (3 - 6 years) Strong verbal, written communication, and teamwork skills CPR/First Aid certification (preferred or willingness to obtain) Must pass all four background checks and verify previous experience working with children Ability to complete necessary online and in-person childcare licensing requirements prior to August 31st 2026. Ability to multitask
What You'll Gain:

Monday through Friday 2:30 AM-5:30 PM.
Compensation:
