Role:

St. Paul Christian Early Learning is looking for a passionate and dedicated Assistant Director of Childcare to join our team in Lititz, PA! In this leadership role, you'll help shape a nurturing, faith-based environment where young children thrive and families feel supported. Responsibilities:

Assist the Director in overseeing daily childcare center operations and staff management Support curriculum planning and implementation aligned with early childhood development best practices Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and childcare safety standards Mentor, coach, and support classroom teachers and childcare staff Build and maintain positive relationships with families and communicate program updates Assist with enrollment, registration, and family onboarding processes Step in to lead the center in the Director's absence

Requirements:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred 2+ years of experience in a childcare, preschool, or early learning setting Prior supervisory or leadership experience in a childcare environment Knowledge of PA childcare licensing regulations and DHS compliance standards Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Current or ability to obtain required clearances (FBI, PA State Police, Child Abuse History)
