Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Child Care Assistant Aide, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a nurturing environment for young children to thrive. In this role, you will support lead teachers and caregivers in providing high-quality care, fostering developmental growth, and ensuring a safe, engaging space for children of various ages. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on children's lives while gaining valuable experience in early childhood education. Duties Assist with supervising children during daily activities, playtime, meals, and rest periods to ensure their safety and well-being Support classroom management by helping implement age-appropriate educational activities and behavioral guidance strategies Aid in maintaining a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning and development Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about children's progress, needs, and daily experiences Follow mandated reporting laws to report any concerns related to child safety or well-being promptly and appropriately Support staff in implementing child development instruction tailored to individual needs, including those with disabilities or special education requirements Assist with diapering, feeding, and basic infant/toddler care as needed to ensure comfort and health Requirements Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar settings is highly preferred Knowledge of early childhood education principles, childhood development stages, and behavior management techniques Certification in first aid and CPR (Pediatric First Aid preferred) to ensure readiness for emergency situations Familiarity with special education practices and experience working with children with disabilities is a plus Ability to follow classroom routines and manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment Strong communication skills for parent interaction and teamwork within the childcare setting Commitment to creating a safe, inclusive space that supports all children's growth and learning This paid position is ideal for motivated individuals passionate about early childhood development who want to contribute positively to children's lives while advancing their skills in childcare. Pay:
$12.00 - $15.00 per hour
