Overview Small Scholars Learning Academy is seeking a dedicated part-time daycare teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for nurturing young children, fostering their development, and creating a safe, engaging, and supportive classroom environment. The candidate will safely assist children to the bus stop in front of the building and help them onto the bus. The candidate will also assist as a floater in classrooms that need additional help. Hours are 8 am-10 am/ possibly more if needed throughout the day. Friendly and comfortable working environment with small classroom sizes. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum focused on toddler development, including social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth. Lead daily classroom activities that promote exploration, creativity, and learning through play. Lead children to the bus stop and onto the bus. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding children's progress, milestones, and any concerns. Qualifications 1-2 years of experience working with children in a licensed daycare, preschool, or early childhood education setting is required. Passing all background checks and fingerprinting.
