In this role, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for infants and toddlers, fostering their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Your enthusiasm for early childhood education will inspire young learners and support their growth through engaging activities, personalized care, and effective communication with families. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote early literacy, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional learning tailored to infants and toddlers Provide attentive toddler care by ensuring safety, hygiene, nutrition, and comfort at all times Manage classroom routines including diapering, feeding, nap times, and transitions with patience and consistency Utilize behavior management techniques to encourage positive interactions and address challenging behaviors effectively Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns Maintain detailed documentation of child development progress and classroom activities in compliance with licensing standards Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, classroom management strategies, and special education accommodations when needed Requirements Prior experience working with children in early childhood settings such as daycare centers or preschools Knowledge of child development principles specific to infants and toddlers Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques Understanding of special education needs, early intervention strategies, and behavior management practices Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training in childhood welfare is preferred Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members Ability to adhere to mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare Experience with classroom experience involving standardized testing or assessments is a plus Demonstrated commitment to early childhood education principles including preschool teaching methods and physical education activities Join us in shaping the future by providing a warm, enriching environment where young children can thrive!
