In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children across various age groups, including infants, preschoolers and school-aged children. The position involves interacting with children and communicating effectively with parents to ensure their child's needs are met. This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals passionate about early childhood development and creating positive experiences for children. Our Center hours are 6-5:30 Monday to Friday. Duties Supervise children during daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning, socialization, and development Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and daily updates Provide attentive care to preschoolers, supporting their emotional and physical needs Assist with routine tasks such as meal times, nap times, and playtime supervision Interact positively with children to foster a supportive and encouraging environment Split shifts (morning and afternoon) are available to accommodate program schedules Support different age groups by adapting care approaches to meet developmental requirements Experience Previous experience working with children in a childcare setting is preferred but not required Strong communication skills for effective interaction with both children and parents Ability to engage children in meaningful activities that support their growth and development Patience, compassion, and a genuine interest in early childhood education are essential qualities for success in this role

Pay:

$11.00 - $13.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 - 20.0 per week
