Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones to foster strong partnerships. Maintain classroom organization, manage daily routines, and ensure safety protocols are strictly followed in accordance with mandated reporting laws and child welfare standards. Incorporate classroom management techniques to promote respectful interactions and constructive behavior among children. Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood development, special education needs, and best practices in preschool teaching. Experience Prior experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting is essential; familiarity with toddler care is highly valued. Demonstrated knowledge of early childhood education principles, including child development instruction and classroom management strategies. Experience designing lesson plans that include literacy education, math activities, physical education, and standardized testing preparations. Strong communication skills for effective parent engagement and collaboration with colleagues. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional credentials in special education or early intervention are advantageous. Proven ability to adapt teaching methods for children with diverse learning needs or developmental challenges.
