Role:
Winner of Best of the Main Line two years in a row is looking for a passionate and nurturing Pre-K Teacher to join our dedicated team in Wayne, PA! This is a wonderful opportunity to make a lasting impact on young learners during their most formative years in a warm, supportive environment. Offering a $1000 signing bonus to the right candidate
Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons aligned with early childhood education standards Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment for Pre-K students Monitor and assess individual student development, growth, and school readiness Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and milestones Incorporate play-based learning, social-emotional development, and early literacy activities Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support whole-child development Maintain accurate student records and documentation in compliance with program requirements
Requirements:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field required Prior experience working with Pre-K or early childhood age groups Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) and early learning frameworks Strong classroom management and communication skills PA Child Abuse History Clearance, FBI Background Check, and Criminal History required CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Warm, patient, and enthusiastic demeanor with a genuine love for working with young children
