Best of the Main Line Winner 2 years in a row is looking for a passionate and nurturing Preschool Co-Lead Teacher to join our dedicated team in Wayne, PA. This is a wonderful opportunity to shape young minds during their most formative years in a collaborative, supportive classroom environment. Responsibilities:
Co-lead a preschool classroom by planning and implementing age-appropriate curriculum and daily lesson plans Foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment for young children Support children's social-emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play-based learning Collaborate with co-teacher to maintain consistent classroom routines and behavior management strategies Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and milestones Observe, document, and assess child development and maintain accurate student records Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and engaging classroom space
Requirements:
Hish School diploma/Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred Prior experience working with preschool-aged children in a classroom or childcare setting Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) and early childhood development Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for early childhood education CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
