Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate assistant teachers to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, fostering their development through engaging activities and educational experiences. You will work closely with children of various age groups, infants- school-age,ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive growth. This is a part time position with the flexibility to open at 6:30 am or close at 6 pm. Duties Engage with parents during drop off or pick up. Engage children in play-based learning activities that promote creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development and any concerns that may arise. Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Requirements A CDA, AA or Bachelors in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred. Must have up to 1 year experience working with children. Available to open at 6:30 am or close until 6 pm. Strong understanding of childhood development principles and practices. Experience working with children in a classroom setting is essential. Knowledge of behavior management techniques to support children's emotional well-being. First aid/CPR Certification. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. A commitment to fostering an inclusive environment for all children. Will need to complete trainings per DHS regulations and ongoing annual trainings. Will obtain a employment physical and TB test.

Pay:

$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
