Oxford Athletic Club is the most extensive private health and fitness club in the Pittsburgh area and is nationally recognized by the Health & Fitness Association (HFA). Our KidZone team plays a vital role in creating a fun, engaging, and safe space for our youngest members. We're looking for energetic, caring professionals to join our growing childcare team!Position Summary:
We are seeking dependable and enthusiastic Childcare Teachers who are passionate about early childhood development and want to make a difference in the lives of children ages 3 months to 13 years. You will design and guide enriching activities, provide nurturing care, and foster positive interactions in a clean, safe environment. Infant, toddler, Preschool, and School age positions available.Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage with children in age-appropriate activities
- Design and implement learning experiences that encourage creativity and development
- Provide direct care and attention to infants and toddlers, including diapering and feeding
- Support potty training and help mediate social interactions
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming childcare environment
- Maintain communication with parents regarding their child's experience and any behavioral concerns
- Assist with managing check-ins and daily scheduling
Qualifications:
Required:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- 2-4 years of experience working directly with infants (3-18 months)
- Ability to pass background check and obtain/maintain CPR certification
- Must have required PA child abuse clearances
Preferred:
- 2 years' experience working in daycare, preschool, or similar early childhood setting
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods
