Overview Early Childhood Educator - Full-Time Kreative Bears Preschool® | York, PA Full-Time | Monday-Friday | $15.00-$18.00/hour Kreative Bears Preschool® is expanding, and we're looking for a dependable and nurturing Early Childhood Educator to join our growing team. We're seeking someone who genuinely enjoys working with young children, understands the importance of consistent routines and positive relationships, and is ready to be an active member of the classroom team. Our program serves infants through preschool in a warm, play-based learning environment. What You'll Do Provide attentive, nurturing care throughout the school day Engage children in play, learning activities, and age-appropriate experiences Support meals, diapering/toileting, rest time, transitions, and classroom routines Maintain a clean, organized, and safe learning environment Observe children and complete required classroom documentation Use positive, relationship-based approaches to behavior and guidance Communicate professionally with families and coworkers Work collaboratively with teachers and center leadership Follow Pennsylvania DHS child care regulations and center policies What We're Looking For Candidates must meet applicable Pennsylvania DHS child care staff qualificationsfor the position.

Ideal candidates will have:

Experience working with infants, toddlers, and/or preschool-aged children 2,500+ documented hours of child care or early childhood experience Experience in a licensed child care setting CDA, Early Childhood Education coursework, Associate or Bachelor's degree, or related education is a plus Strong attendance, dependability, and professionalism Effective communication and teamwork skills Ability to actively participate in classroom activities, including sitting on the floor, lifting, bending, and moving throughout the day Applicants who already have current PA clearances, Pediatric CPR/First Aid, mandated reporter training, and health & safety training are strongly encouraged to apply. Compensation & Benefits Starting pay: $15.00/hour 90-day performance and wage review Growth potential up to $18.00/hour based on qualifications, experience, performance, and responsibilities Paid Time Off Monday-Friday schedule No weekends Ongoing professional development and coaching Opportunities for advancement as our preschool grows Supportive, family-oriented work environment Schedule This is a full-time, in-person position.
