Student Preschool Classroom Assistant (Student Temp) University of Michigan - 4.3 Dearborn, MI Job Details Part-time 12 hours ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Job Summary The Early Childhood Education Center (ECEC) under the College of Education, Health, and Human Services, is a high quality early childhood program which applies a Reggio Emilia inspired constructivism theory of learning. The curriculum focus is nuturing children's critical thinking skills and problem solving skills. The ECEC is a State of Michigan approved and National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) accredited early learning center for young children. The center serves as a model teacher preparation and child study facility for university students enrolled in a variety of UM-Dearborn education courses. The ECEC is seeking highly motivated and compassionate students to assistant lead teachers in a pre-school classroom environment. 10 - 30 hours per week
