Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Demonstrated experience working with children or young adults with behavioral needs Familiarity with behavioral intervention techniques or willingness to be trained Calm, patient, and adaptable demeanor, especially when managing challenging situations Strong verbal communication skills and ability to document incident information as needed Reliability and punctuality to meet early morning and afternoon shift requirements Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times

Role Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 supervision for the student during both morning and afternoon bus routes Intervene and calmly redirect behaviors such as spitting or undressing if they occur Collaborate with transportation staff to enforce safety protocols and support positive student conduct Maintain clear communication with school personnel regarding observations and incidents Ensure the student's comfort and safety while fostering a respectful and caring environment throughout transport This contract role follows a split schedule: Monday to Thursday, 5:00 AM-9:00 AM & 1:30 PM-5:30 PM; Fridays, 5:00 AM-9:00 AM & 12:45 PM-4:45 PM, totaling 8 hours daily.
