Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role involves managing classroom behavior, and promoting independence through play. Preference given to candidates with Early Childhood degrees. Salary commensurate with experience and education Responsibilities Knowledge of RIELDS early learning education standards. Able to work collaboratively Foster a positive learning environment by utilizing effective behavior management strategies. Positive reinforcement strategies Engage children in physical activities to promote health and wellness. Supervision of children during outside play Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom atmosphere that encourages exploration and learning. Observe and assess children's progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and classroom schedule and goals Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and classroom management practices. Maintain a clean and organized classroom space that supports learning. Responsible for daily light cleaning throughout the day. Requirements Associates or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred. Students continuing their education are welcome to apply Experience working with preschool-aged children in a childcare or educational setting.(Prefer the candidate has a minimum of 1-2 years teaching experience) Knowledge of Montessori methods is a plus but not required. Strong skills in classroom, and behavior management. Organized and reliable a must. Ability to create engaging physical activities suitable for young children. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with children, parents, and staff. A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their developmental needs.
