1. Child Supervision & Safety Provide constant supervision of children at all times Ensure a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment Follow all licensing and safety regulations (state and center policies) Respond appropriately to accidents and emergencies 2. Classroom Management Maintain a structured daily schedule (circle time, play, meals, rest) Use positive behavior guidance techniques Encourage independence and self-help skills 3. Curriculum & Activities Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons and activities Support early learning (letters, numbers, colors, shapes, social skills) Encourage creativity through art, music, and play Adapt activities to meet individual needs 4. Communication Communicate daily with parents about child progress and needs Build positive relationships with families Work as part of a team with other staff 5. Caregiving Duties Assist with meals, snacks, and feeding Help with toileting, diapering (if applicable), and hygiene Maintain cleanliness of classroom and materials 6. Documentation & Compliance Keep accurate attendance and child records Follow CACFP meal guidelines (if applicable) Complete required training and certifications Qualifications High school diploma or GED (required) Early Childhood Education (ECE) coursework or experience (preferred) CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Background check clearance (required by state regulations) Experience working with young children (preferred) Skills & Abilities Patience and strong communication skills Ability to multitask and stay organized Positive attitude and teamwork mindset Understanding of child development Ability to handle stressful situations calmly Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 30-40 lbs Frequent sitting, standing, bending, and moving Ability to actively engage with children (floor play, outdoor play) Work Environment Classroom and playground settings Exposure to noise, bodily fluids, and active play environments

$13.00 - $14.00 per hour
