Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Early Childhood Educator to inspire and nurture young learners in a vibrant educational environment. In this role, you will create engaging, developmentally appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth. Your dedication will help lay a strong foundation for children's lifelong learning and well-being. Duties Design and implement dynamic lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and social skills. Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and exploration. Support children's individual developmental needs through tailored activities, including special education and early intervention strategies. Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques and behavior management strategies. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to share progress, address concerns, and promote active involvement in their child's learning journey. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate records of child development milestones and assessments. Conduct routine safety checks, administer first aid and CPR when necessary, and uphold health standards within the childcare setting. Requirements Proven experience working with children in educational or childcare settings, including preschool or daycare environments. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom management, and curriculum development. Familiarity with special education needs, early intervention programs, and literacy education techniques. Ability to develop engaging lesson plans that incorporate hands-on activities and standardized testing where applicable. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Certification in first aid and CPR; knowledge of mandated reporting laws is essential. Experience teaching physical education or tutoring young children is a plus. Demonstrated commitment to child welfare, safety protocols, and ongoing professional development in early childhood education. Join us in shaping bright futures! Pay:
$16.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 - 30.0 per week
