Duties Plan and implement creative, educational activities that promote early childhood development and learning. Supervise children during play, meals, nap times, and outdoor activities to ensure safety at all times. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about children's progress, behavior, and special needs. Follow all mandated reporting laws to report any concerns regarding child safety or well-being. Administer basic first aid or CPR in case of minor injuries or emergencies. Collaborate with colleagues to develop individualized care plans for children with special needs or disabilities. Skills Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings or on the job training Knowledge of childhood development principles and age-specific teaching strategies. Certification in first aid, CPR, and pediatric first aid is highly preferred. We will pay for class! Experience working with children with disabilities or special education needs. Strong classroom management skills to foster positive behavior and social skills. Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration.
