Childcare Provider

Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Provide attentive and nurturing care for children in a safe and stimulating environment
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to promote child development and learning
  • Create a structured daily routine that includes playtime, meals, naptime, and educational activities
  • Ensure the health and safety of children at all times, including administering medication if necessary
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns that may arise
  • Maintain a clean and organized childcare space
Requirements:
  • (Preferred) Previous experience in childcare, such as babysitting, nannying, or working in a daycare/preschool setting
  • Knowledge of childhood development and age-appropriate activities
  • Ability to manage and redirect challenging behaviors in a positive and constructive manner
  • Strong communication skills to interact with children, parents, and other staff members
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in early childhood education is a plus
