Infant & Toddler Program Program Description:

Our Infant & Toddler Program is designed to support the intellectual, physical, social, and emotional development of young children. Teachers collaborate closely with the Tennessee Department of Human Services (DHS) to ensure the highest standards of care and education are met.

Essential Job Functions:

Follow DHS Child Care Licensing standards at all times Serve as the primary caregiver for a group of children, including those with special needs Plan and implement developmentally appropriate enrichment activities and care routines Work collaboratively with other staff to create a nurturing and positive environment for children, families, and staff Maintain a healthy and safe classroom by adhering to sanitation procedures and safety protocols Communicate program-related issues with supervisors in a timely and professional manner Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring a coordinated care plan for each family Contribute to the overall success of the program by performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

High School Diploma (required) Child Development Associate (CDA) Certificate

•Infant/Toddler (preferred) Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience working with infants and toddlers CPR and First Aid Certification (required) Must pass a comprehensive background check
