Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for nurturing and educating children in a safe and engaging environment. This role involves caring for children of various ages, ensuring their well-being, and supporting their developmental needs. The Childcare Provider will play a vital role in fostering a positive atmosphere where children can learn, grow, and thrive. Responsibilities Provide attentive and nurturing care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development. Implement behavior management strategies to support positive interactions among children. Assist with daily routines, including meal preparation, diaper changes, and nap times. Foster an environment that encourages curiosity and exploration through play. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the childcare space to ensure a safe environment. Collaborate with other childcare staff to develop educational programs that meet the needs of all children. Experience The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and experience: Proven experience in caregiving, particularly with infants or young children. Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices. Familiarity with special education techniques is a plus. Experience in behavior management strategies to support children's emotional needs. Background in preschool education or classroom management is preferred. Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable. A genuine love for working with children and the ability to create a nurturing environment.
