KinderCare is seeking dedicated Teachers for our Kingsport KinderCare learning center. In this role, you will create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom for young children, using play-based, developmentally appropriate curriculum. You'll plan lessons, guide social-emotional development, and support daily routines while maintaining high standards of health and safety. Teachers build strong partnerships with families through ongoing communication and progress updates. You'll collaborate with a supportive team, participate in professional development, and help children build foundational skills for lifelong learning in an inclusive, growth-focused environment. Responsibilities Create and implement developmentally appropriate, play-based lesson plans for young children. Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment that supports emotional and social growth. Observe, document, and communicate children's progress to families and center leadership. Partner with families through regular, positive communication and conferences. Support children's routines including meals, rest, and transitions while following health and safety standards. Collaborate with center staff to support school-wide events, programs, and continuous improvement. Follow all licensing regulations, company policies, and child protection protocols. Engage in ongoing professional development and training in early childhood education.
